 Amit Motwani is a passionate attorney who is dedicated to resolving his client's issues. You will find his attention to detail and genuine concern for your matter extremely impressive. Mr. Motwani has obtained judgments at trial, drafted and negotiated contracts, and mediated cases for other attorneys.  He has successfully settled litigation against large corporations such as Mercedes-Benz. He graduated Magna Cum Laude (top 10%) under a Dean's Scholarship from Thomas Jefferson School of Law where he earned awards for drafting contracts and was an editor for the Thomas Jefferson Law Review.  

 

Prior to pursuing a legal career, Mr. Motwani was a real estate investor and business consultant.  He purchased several distressed real estate properties and successfully divested them for significant returns. He also invested in various rental properties, which was the catalyst for his landlord-tenant experience.  Mr. Motwani is a licensed real estate agent in Maryland.

Mr. Motwani's business consulting experience includes working with clients to acquire new customers, benchmark capabilities, analyze new markets, and examine the competitive landscape of industries to assist clients with their overall positioning.  He provided clients with the tools necessary to make actionable decisions.

 

Mr. Motwani was born and raised in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.  His undergraduate degree is from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland where he graduated with a dual degree in Finance and International Business.
